Indeed. Only have to take our eyes off the interwebs for a day or so and we miss stuff!

I'm certainly very interested in the project because of Whedon's involvement. I loved Dushku in Buffy (and Bring It On - for obvious reasons), but i'm not sure she's a leading lady. Tru Calling was rubbish, which wasn't necessarily her fault, but we'll have to see.

If anyone can make her shine, it's going to be Whedon's writing.

Apparently Tim Minear is on board too, which is a good thing.

damn - knew i should have posted this here as well...

Sounds very promising, but Fox have built up so much ill will over recent years with genre properties its hard to be anything but super cautious.

The fanboy in me however goes wooooooooooooooooo.

This sounds seriously like a wind up - Joss Whedon working with Fox again?
The company he vowed never to work with again.
The company that still won't let him have the TV rights to Firefly...
Seriously....

Takin this with a truckload of salt.....

As a result of Mr. Whedon's recent projects I feel ambivilent about Dollhouse. While Serenity was a very enjoyable film, and Firefly a promising series before Fox (boo, hiss, etc) culled it, the latter seasons of Buffy and Angel ranged from trite to embarassing.

Also, the synopsis of Dollhouse on Wikipedia sounds convoluted.

But hey, when Joss is good, he's *damn* good, so add a (cautious) Woo-hoo! from me.

Looks like we might be waiting a while longer for this.

Joss has been picketing for the writers' strike that is going on and his creation has gone on hold

And I thought his plot was complicated!
