I'm almost ready to watch this 24% left to go
Heroes - Potential Spoilers
Has anyone else seen this yet?
I really liked the first episode... I had been a bit concerned after hearing that the pilot had been cut from 90mins to just 60, but it worked really well. I love that our 'heroes' are mostly flawed individuals and how some of the powers are ambiguous. Loved the twist at the end and I think mirror woman, healing girl and painting man all have great potential. And I wonder how the Professor is going to fit into it all...
EDIT - Just found out that the show debuted with 14.3 million viewers and won it's slot, so it performs this well next week we can at least be sure that it won't get cancelled to quickly. Which is good news for me and even better news for Greg Grunberg

I watched it and I'm not sure. I may have to re-watch it when I'm in the mood and see if it makes a difference.
Although the first ep was only so, so I'm now completely hooked! It's just getting better and better and every ep (so far) ends on somewhat of a cliffhanger which means I can't wait till next week.

Me too
I'm officially 100% hooked on this show. Every week there's something i wasn't expecting and I love it!
How cute is Hiro? And Peter causes the nuclear explosion?!? And Eden's sacrifice to stop Syler getting her powers... and the Hatian talks... wow.
Really looking forward to the show coming back after it's stupidly long break (about a mont hand a half if my info is correct)

The show should be back on the 22nd of January on US Tv, which is pretty long although it could have been worse as some shows won't make it back on the screen until March (if at all). Luckily we'll have Christmas to occupy us in the meantime and of course a week of Sleepercell and not to forget 24 starts again early in January. So although I will miss Heroes (as oh my god it is so good!) there are at least some shows that can keep us company in the meantime.
I tried to download the pilot of this, with little luck, but I gather it's coming to the BBC this year...
I was under the impression the Scifi channel had the rights, but perhaps BBC have second run rights which means it will likely be the tail end of the year before they can show it.
As Wobag said, SciFi have got it. Starting in February .... in fact, 19th Feb at 10pm

And The_Host is also right.. BBC2 hve second run rights but it will be end of 2007 at the earliest before they show it (so says SFX magazine) and the DVD's will probably be out by then!

True enough...
'It only holds the over-the-air rights to the show; SciFi UK owns the cable, pay TV, and satellite rights.'

I'm not at all clear on this, though. Is 'Heroes' screening on Sci-Fi now? Because I looked through an entire week of Sc-Fi a few months back, to find the repeat of 'Firefly', and I don't recall seeing 'Heroes'. Did I just miss it? Has it just started? Am I not too late?

I didn't see Bryany's post about February, though, because I've been running around the past hour or so doing things, while checking the onscreen gude again, and finally doing a quick websearch for 'bbc heroes cheerleader'...
been loving this since ep 1 - gave the first 6 eps to a friend who doesnt have t'internet, and now hes clamouring for the rest...
Seems once I completely downloaded the first ep, I was able to view. Wow, Adrian Pasdar, from 'Near Dark' back in '87.
The second ep d/loaded faster, the Hiro thing looks a bit weird...
