I haven't been the biggest fan of Taylor Townsend but after last week's episode, she is growing on me and she was hilarious last night i have to admit, a bit wearing but hilarious all the same.

Kaitlin Cooper annoys the hell out of me - acting wise and character wise. I swear Willa Holland (aka Kaitlin) has a Southern accent. Plus Kaitlin grew up pretty quickly in 2.5 years!

I'm glad i'm not the only one who finds her annoying. She just needed a good slap instead of manipulating Marissa like that (and i'm not the hugest fan of Marissa) but i did enjoy this week's storyline. I liked that Ryan finally made Marissa chose between Johnny and himself, finally he got a backbone in that situation and the scene where Johnny went ker-splat was tense. I'm looking forward to this week's ep to see the repercussions of that.

So where are we up to with this on here then. I've been so confused as to what I can read and what I can't on this thread as I only started watching The O.C. about 6 weeks ago! I'm now up to where the US is.

I too found Mini-Coop annoying. I also find Marissa annoying so it's hardly surprising. I so want to talk about what's just happened in the US, but i don't want to spoil people who haven't seen it.

Speaking of annoying; am I the only one who is glad that Johnny didn't make it? Storylines involving Marissa and other guys always seem really dull. Storylines involving Marissa and other women, on the other hand....

No, I also didn't like Johnny, cos he got in the way of Ryan and Marissa! There's always something getting in their way and it's just plain irritating. Hence the glee at Johnny's demise

Nope I was glad he was 'written out' as well lol.

But I'm getting bored of the whole Marissa and Ryan will they won't they thing. I wish he would just dump her, get it on with this other bird that Volchak has an interest in and kick his ass so he can be written out too!

I'm not overly impressed with this season.

I thought Johnny was sweet, i just didn't warm to how he was constantly mooning over Marissa and she really annoys me at the moment because she chose Ryan but she seems to be questioning it, i mean, if Johnny hadn't died, would she be dithering like she is?. I suppose she's grieving, feeling guilty, whatever... but gawwwd!!. You know what, i miss a bit of 'old school' Ryan..the closest he got to that was when he faced off to Volchak earlier in the season. I want it to come back, even just for a little while.

(And a friend and i always called Johnny 'Ryan-lite' )

The season has been a bit ho-hum i have to agree, but i loved tonight's ep... absolutely loved it
