I take it you don't have E4 then, as they show the next episode straight after.

I REALLY enjoyed the pilot.
I watched it with high expectations but they were exceeded. I can't believe I have to wait a whole 7 days for the next episode!
Lost Discussion Thread - up to episode 16 (Channel 4)
So Lost finally starts on Channel 4 tonight. It's one of the most eagerly awaited shows to make it across the Atlantic in years (well so people tell me at least!).
I'm going to have to tape it unfortunately as I'm out tonight, but I'm looking forward to it after all the hype.
Is there anyone else who is looking forward to this?
PS: For those of you who have seen it already, please don't post about anything that hasn't been shown on Channel 4. Ta

What's the rain thing? Or is it too spoilery to put in here?
Michael tells Walt he'll start to look for Vincent (the dog) once the rain stops and then it just suddenly stops.
I thought the rain thing was about the one person who sits out in the rain, he seems strange. Theres something different about him.

Long lost relative possibly?
I was out on Wednesday night, so I didn't get to see the pilot until last night. I loved it! I thought it was very cool and with so much scope for where it could go. I'm looking forward to seeing the next episode on E4 tonight.
And the cutest one is definitely the pregnant girl.

By the way, does anyone know if the version of the pilot shown last night on E4 was the same as the one shown on Wednesday or if it was the uncut version? I definitely saw a body in a tree, but whether this is the same shot that was cut out of Wednesday night's version I don't know...
And I missed 'em - crapski!
I decided I wouldn't like Lost, but it was very gripping and entertaining. The characters are really intriguing too.
I'll be watching for the whole season.
The only thing that worries me is, what are they gonna do after the first season? They're just gonna be lost still.

Well, that 'french chick' was never found after 16 years on the island. And her companions were all killed by whatever lives in the jungle.

Anyway....love it, love it, love it!
And, PoF, loving the pregnant girl too. Very cute
I know, its out in the US in September. But I just don't see much changing. I will still watch, for atleast the first season.

They are already filming season 2
Maybe the Lost experts can clear this up for me: Is Shannon's bro called Nicholas or something else?
I thought he was called 'Boone'

Just in case peple didn't realise...
The pregnant girl is played by the actress who played Tess in Roswell.

I saw blood on the cockpit window, and a body after (in the tree), but I watched the repeat on Saturday, which ran from 10:40 to half past midnight.

They cut SO much out of that episode, the blood on the cockpit window, the skinless body in the tree and lots of other little bits (I've seen the ep a few times, lol). That has really effed me off!
I know they were showing the first ep at 8:30, but how about if Dr Hack-and-slash the Editor leaves his machete alone just this once?!
I found the whole 'monster' thing intriguing. I can't help thinking that if it was me in that situation, with a dozen or so people in a strange land (island?) who had somehow walked away from a plane crash without any serious injuries (is there more to that than meets the eye?), and such a menace presented itself, I'd be sharpening 10 ft sticks and gittin' the barbecue ready. If things go as I would anticipate next week, I'll stick with the series, or maybe a twist would do...
