Unsigned Bands?

I love going to see local & unsigned bands and realise there is a lot of talent out there which most people won't get to hear. Who is your favourite unsigned band?

Mine are a Cambridge band called Right Turn Clyde. They supported Four Star Mary for a couple of gigs a few tours ago, got single of the week in Kerrang (KKKKK) a little while ago, have recently toured with B-Movie Heros and supported The Damned and Stiff Little Fingers. They also write songs about me (Girls R Evil & Easy Tiger) - hee hee

How about solo singers too though?
ELC and I know a guy whose part of a band but is also AMAZING solo who plays guitar, writes his own songs and is dreamy too (and a kat fave he's got frekles too). *stops drooling* sorry

Ferretgirl Make something idiot-proof and they will make a better idiot

ummm, Dark Logic (which are my band) and we really are rubbish but some people who've heard us have said we are good - but they might be biased

Now for some proper bands:

The Kinky Wizards - they are one of my friend's brothers bands and they have some great songs www.srcf.ucam.org/~mrl35/index2.html from what my friend was saying they've been invited into the studio by a record label!!

Sinkhole - Another Cool band from around my area.

Cracking punk band until they start trying to cover NOFX's MV (not going to put the full title for obvious reasons) cos Terry the singer doesn't know the words

Funky, yet hard and heavy at times. Parts Feeder, Incubus and Pearl Jam, but more complex and original than that sounds.

You'll even find a review of one of their gigs I wrote a couple of years back!

More mainstream Alt.rock, but pretty damn cool at it. The websites a little out of date as they've been concentrating on writing and obviously haven't been updating on the gig side of things. Check out tracks Just A Ride and the heavenly Dreamless Midsummer's Night.

I'd plug my band here, only the media on our site won't work as we don't have the money for hosting at the moment...

They're only bad quality videos at the moment anyway, no mp3s for a month or so yet (we're just about to start recording our demo).

However, I will plug my brother's band Tillzikky (www.boomspeed.net/ok_tillzikky), because they're about to do a gig for a good cause (Food Not Bombs), and I'm trying to get as many people as possible to go
