Hmmm, that's a toughie...

Monsters Of Rock (Donington) in 1988 was about the best line up of bands I'd ever witnessed (Iron Maiden, KISS, Dave Lee Roth, Gun N' Roses, Megadeth and Helloween).

Guns N' Roses' two Wembley Stadium gigs in 1992 were excellent. And I'm told featured Nine Inch Nails last ever performance in this country. And Skid Rows' before they were banned by Brent Council.

AC/DC at Wembley in 1988 was my first gig and seeing Angus Young in the flesh was just amazing!

Iron Maiden (again) doing their 'club' tour in 1990 when they played the smallish Southampton Mayflower was cool. Good to be so close to such an excellent band.

The Cranberries in 1995 at Wembley because I was right at the front (after queueing for hours) and Dolores O'Riordan has such an amazing voice.

And here's hoping Avril Lavigne next March matches up to her excellent Astoria gig back in November.

Aerosmith, Telewest Arena, May 1998 (I think).. anyway, the last time they played Newcastle.. was a fantastic night, had great seats and the band were awesome!!

1st ever gigs I saw of each of them & I've been going to every one they each have in London since

Ahh, time methinks to wheel out my I saw Nirvana at Bristol Bierkeller November '91 story. Nevermind had been out about a month, Teen Spirit hadn't been released as a single, and we'd had our tickets for ages anyway. It was the actual opening night of the Europeon leg of the Nevermind tour I think.

It would have been a cooler story if I'd seen them supporting Tad in some long forgotton Bristol toilet 18-months previously, but they'd just sacked Chad Channing and cancelled the tour. Not my fault.

Jimmy Eat World at the Manchester Academy last May. It was really great despite all the mini-moshers leaping around us.

Barenaked Ladies Manchester Apollo, April 2001. They are such a fantastic band live. And we were right at the front and got to meet them afterwards.

Lenny Kravitz! the man was a *god*!

and Killing Miranda..and Godhead...Kiss The Blade and I.O.N were good too.

Well I've only ever seen Elton John at Sheffield Arena in 92, and FSM at the Garage in November, and they were both really good.

I would love to catch these guys live!! I've got the DVD of when they did a private gig in front of a small audience last year and it was awesome.

Most recently I haven't been to many gigs, but the one that sticks out most was Goldfinger while they were supporting 'A'. One of the most energetic performances I have seen and a helluva show to boot!!

Saw them at the Riverside in Newcastle yonks ago. I still swear to this day that Toni Halliday was staring right at me through the whole gig...

Again at the Riverside, and before the bald one got really irratating (ie - at the time of Gish).

Mansun
Leeds Poly I think. In my Romo phase so I was all mascara'd up and getting some very funny looks. But Chad is a sex bomb.

Love/Hate
Obscure Metal band that few have heard of. Saw them somewhere in Bradford way too many years ago. And had an absolute riot!

I used to love these. It was at a Love/Hate gig that I saw my beloved Wildhearts for the 1st time. I also saw Love/Hate opening for Skid Row at The Docklands a few years ago
