Short Story Ideas

Right, I'm looking to brush up on my creative writing skills, and am looking for a pitch.

I need brave volunteers to suggest three things for me to base the story around:
- A genre
- A location
- A random object

My favourite idea wins a short story.

Begin!

Alan Got a message from the Great Lakes Avengers, They offered me a membership but didn't accept... they're a walking disaster... Just don't make sense at all... the worst heroes of all time, To call thems

Suggestions passed to me on Facebook so far:
- horror, angle tarn, Wallace and Gromit poster
- mystery, a pub in a small town, a locked box with no sign of a key hole
