Well it now seems that Gerri and I have seperate single rooms (for the price of a twin). Stupid hotel

T Party - Who's coming?!
Hey folks :
A few of you have asked if we have a list of attendees that we can post.
There are a lot of people interested in attending the T Party and indeed quite a few of you have booked hotel rooms. However, we can’t count someone as a definite attendee until they’ve paid for their ticket. From past experience most people usually do this about 3-4 weeks before the actual party and so we won’t be able to post a definitive list for a few weeks. We could post a list of “probabliesâ€, however we think it’s fair to wait until someone has confirmed before we post them up as a “definiteâ€
However, if there are those of you who want to let the world know you’ll be at the T Party then please feel free to post below
When someone gives us a definite "yes" below we'll edit this post to add your name

I swear that hotel doesn't know its arse from its elbow.
After a brief panic revolving around texts from Mad and Gerri I called the hotel to double check my reservation. Everything was fine with our two single rooms then I thought I'd double check Ys room for her. Turned out the double she booked was now a twin
So anyway, I got her moved to a double and Gerri and I are back in a twin.
Not wanting to start a panic, but if you have a room booked you'd prolly do good to give them a call just incase...

On Friday, lil_miss phoned the hotel and double checked each room against each name and they were all booked correctly against the information we have, so as far as we know the rooms are all booked correctly.
lil_miss is gonna post in a bit anyway, and she knows more than I do cos she's handled all the hotel stuff.

Indeed I have! Seriously, I think I get the sane people when I call there cos I've not had any trouble whatsoever (not including T and Gerri's room thingy!).
Anywho, as Maff said, I rang the hotel on friday mainly to cancel the leftover rooms, but I also checked their bookings against what peeps had told me in emails etc (I even made a spreadsheet of it all, lol!) and everything (bar the twin to singles) matched up. So what's happened between then and now with them I don't know.
I will of course ring the hotel again if anything else crops up, just waiting to hear from mad about something to do with a darts team (I must admit I was a tad confused by that but I was trying to cross a busy road and not get runover, lol) but hopefully that's all just been a misunderstanding!
I really do apologise if my choice of hotel has caused people a lot of hassle, I just went for the one that was giving the best deal in the best location
Please, please, please let me know if there are any other problems and I'll be straight on the phone (am in Spalding/Peterborough atm so can't go in person!) to try and sort it out!

I just called them and they are fine with my reservation. I got them to tell me what it was rather than vice versa so they couldn't back out.
lil_miss - I wouldnt worry at all, to be honest, I think the hotel is excellent. Little did I know that a work colleague is in the exact same hotel that weekend lol.

If you really can't copy with the 10 minute walk, there are lots of taxis around.
