A night out with a difference...
Now, usually I wouldn't touch this thing with a bargepole, but I'm informed that it's an untapped totty temple and it isn't quite so cliched as School Disco
Roller Disco - Canvas, Kings Cross, London
Every Thursday (ouch!), at Canvas in KX, there is a Roller Disco that goes from 8pm till midnight. Music ranges from commercial pop/dance to funky house and disco. Admission is around £12 including skate hire. There are 3 arenas so to speak with the differing music types.
Obviously with the G-Party coming up, I'm not proposing this any time soon, but wondered if anyone had any thoughts? I know I'd be booking off the next day hence it'd have to be a bit down the line.
*Has flashback to when he organised ice skating.... oh dear.*
EDIT - A bit more investigation says that it also happens on a Friday night as well but going on till 2am.

I'm thinking buying rounds in this place would be a bad move. Coming back from the bar on skates is gonna be dangerous enough, but if you're carrying 3 or 4 drinks it's practically suicide!

I've seen this sign everytime I'm on the 390 and in the past wondered if it would've been worth mentioning but chickened out. I'd be up for this I haven't been on skates for yeeeeaaaarrrrs, should be a right giggle.

I've not been on skates since I was about 7, and I couldn't stay up on them then!
