Xmas Gathering - 10th December
Ok so now Nos is no longer, we look in anguish to those dark and dreary days looming ahead with no prospect of any fun or merry drunkeness what so ever...YEAH RIGHT if you were on any other board perhaps! 
I have a suggestion for an Xmas meet on the 10th December, because I know how frantic the following weeks can be...
so the venue is The Road House in Covent Garden - London.
It is a diner/cocktail bar/club/live events place. DM, DJ and PoF have all given the place a thumbs up and trust me I think it will be a hit with all you guys
The cocktails are cheap, and food and music is good. Plus there are happy hours and we can get in there early and not pay entry. So who is up for this and who would be willing to look at the party booking for xmas - the menu is on the site attached

I'm a yes. Do we have to have the Christmas menu? I'm not bothered 'cos I'll eat most things but I know there's some fussy buggers here

ok so I have been told this does clash for some of the guys with a show masters gathering in Milton Keynes...but I cannot envisage any other date without going right to Xmas eve.

Well like I said on the journals I can't do the 3rd or 17th but if those are the dates then so be it. I would imagine the Showmasters lot saying the same too (if they don't they're just being selfish ) Choose a date which fits the majority and if I can't do then I won't go. Simple

As confirmation, I would have to say the 10th as well. There is literally no other date that is viable I'm afraid.

I've just looked at the Christmas menu and I reckon that I'd prefer the normal one (if they're doing it, that is). It's cheaper and there's more choice too
Posted: 18:01 Oct 10 2005 If it's anything like any of the restaurants I've worked in they'll insist on groups having the Christmas menu 'cos it's quicker to prepare. You'll also prolly find you'll have to pre-order your food when the booking's made.

I could do any weekend in December except for the 10th..... *sigh*
