T Party 2004: Orange Penguin
Where do we start with this one? I'll do a full post when I have got some stuff sorted, but basically a huge thank you to Tam and the crew for a good do and all the people who turned up over both days for a fab. weekend. Without you it wouldn't be the same. I'm sure the memories will come back with the aid of some pictures and even video clips of things that didn't happen
I'll post this years piccys tomorrow. Who knows I might even stick last years on

Bless him, his first proper T21 meet and he picks up a nickname Having said that, I can still remember what I did at mine and this is infinitely less embarrassing...

Poor Ol' CCMcD. Wasn't even there to defend his Brazilian gone North. Never mind Jimi and tall people.
Becuase I am crap and the like its taken me all week to get around to typing this up, along with the piccys.
Friday
Arrived in Brum after being cooked on the train up, checked into the hotel, showered to remove the insane amount of sweat and met up with the rest of the people in the Brindley, including Stoo, Tam, Mon, Milky, Julz, Noid and anyone else that I have forgotten, sowwy
Seeing as the bottles of wine were £4 per bottle Tam and Julz took it upon themselves to try single handedly to clear the place out of wine.
We had Milky showing off his legs before later deciding to relieve himself.
So as we sat and talked a lot for most of the night until we got thrown out. By this time many people were hungry and in need of munchies. So off we went on a hunt to find a cash machine. Can you believe that there are no cash machines along Broad Street? So after bumping into plod who was helpful, we found a late opening tesco's that shuts 10 minutes before its published time. No cash back or munchies.
So after a long cold walk back it was time to get a room party going. Ended up in Y's room for a while along with others to scrounge some food.
After a while time to get some sleep. Stopped off at Kat & T's room on my way back for a quick chinwag and then ZZZZ.
Saturday
Woke up expecting people to be in the reception area making a noise, but seems that most had an early start and went out.
After a while a few bodies gathered together and Stoo, Julz, Noid & I wandered off along New Street to go shopping and take a look at the Bullring shopping centre.
Now I am not one for going shopping as I don't it, but I have to say I was impressed with the Bullring. Its bright and airy, with loads of room and a huge Dixons XL full of toys to play with!
After having a wander around time for lunch. Costa plenty coffee, Pizza Hut or BK? Noid declined the hut and I wanted food. So BK it was.
Got 2 mouthfulls into by burger and the mincing machine must have had a bone shoved in as well. One complaint later and I tried again. In the meantime Julz had finished his Chicken Royale and was starting to feel guilty about going for second. Guilt is a wonderful thing and he lasted about 30 seconds before giving in!
So off we wandered. I left the rest along New Street as I had to get a couple of things, namely some shoes and a new bat phone.
Took a wander along Broad Street after dumping my stuff in the hotel then onto the supermarket for some booze and munchies for later.
Called on ahead and met some of the crew in the Brindley for a quick warm up of the £1 bottle drinks.
The conversation started on fairly normal topics Until somehow we managed to end up talking about orange penguins, gorilla penis's, gorilla semen and its curdling abilities and princess di. Just don't even ask but I won't be able to drink another bottle of MGD without thinking about it!
The highlight was PoF betting JayJay a fiver that he wouldn't call whistler and ask him if it would curdle. No answer to the phone so a text was in order. "Can you tell me, does gorilla semen curdle?"
A few tense moments passed before a reply of "I don't know, does it?" and "Who is this BTW?"
Fits of laughter from Julz, Noid, JayJay and PoF and a reply along the lines of "I am from London Zoo and your record indicates that you are an expert in gorilla semen" was sent. I can't remember the reply.
Eventually JayJay called and put him out of his misery.
Kicked around for a while, got some grub, then went back to the hotel after a long walk around and got cleaned up after making a few phone calls.
Arrived back in the Brindley to find the DJ just setting up and Ethan moaning about the lack of CD's brought.
Party itself was OK with some good tunes played, including YMCA. I must remember to bring my gas mask next year as the smoke machine brought by the DJ gasses everyone out. Made pictures impossible to take as the flash just reflected straight back. Y's flashy nipples appeared to be quite a hit.
At the death came time for Justin Timberlake to join his buddy Vin Diesel at the bottom of the canal along with his tube sock. A gathering was assembled before Jimi read the last rights and combustion of the poster was attempted. Too much wind. Not even Ethans trusty lighter could get it to start the burning so in he went.
Where to now? Reflex the 80's bar seemed like a good idea, so off along Broad Street a gathering wandered. After 15 minutes of Qing to get into Reflex and moving nowhere we found a bar to sit in for a while to let the Q go down. Y, Julz, Milky (and company), Pooks, Rally, PoF and a few others warmed up.
One amusing site was seeing a white limo go along Broad Street with a nice backside hanging out of one of the rear windows in a nice black thong. I was laughing too hard to take a picture.
After Pooks had downed her Smirnoff it was time to Q at Reflex again. Got straight in and went to the dance area in front of the DJ desk where the next hour was spend dancing away to cheesy 80's tunes with Julz, LW, PoF, Pooks, Rally, Y, Evil Lawyer Chick and a couple of others. Sorry I can't remember your names!
With the cheesy tunes of "The lion sleeps tonite", "Red Red Wine" and other tunes being blasted out now over the usual Broad Street chippy was raided for food while some froze their backsides off outside.
Back to the hotel and a check in past that miserable git "Jim the night watchman" and to a room party. By about 3.30 I was knackered and wandered off to my room for a quick tinnie, snack and some sleep. I missed the towels but seeing as it was SPIKE and Milky I wasn't missing out on much!
Sunday
Woke up at some stupid time, turned over and went back to bed. Got up, showered collected the artinary and wandered off downstairs. Some people had gone already, but after a few goodbyes we setup camp in the Brindley for some to get one of the largest Chicken Tikka's ever served!
After various jokes, including the lostsailor as the mighty Cornholio and Pooks having carpet burn marks on her knees off to the trainstation.
Some even splashed out for a cab, while others decided it would be a good idea to get some air. One quick Royale meal in the station is was goodbye. Or so I thought.
I had asked Ethan which train he was getting back to London. He said Virgin, so we went our own ways. I got on the Silverlink train expecting a boring journey back after looking at the train station to see that it was a bus service from Rugby. Gits on Friday showed straight through. Much to my surprise I saw an Ethan walking along the train after having relieved himself.
A chinwag later and Rugby approached. I got home and slept some more.
T-Party 05? You bet I'm going to be there
Pictures can be found here I will in due course open up last years pictures.

Oh I forgot. If anyone wants the original images to make prints from, the originals are availble from me at twice the resolution. email me and ask nicely, and I'll see what I can do
Well there are no photos there that made me do the usual "Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!" There are some really good ones on there that made me laugh. Just a quick mention (pic 56) have those girls with Milky got the thickest eyebrows in the world? Waxing is the way to go.
PooPoo head!
by Guffer the Git
Noooooo! don't take a picture of me! So how about your reflection from the mirror?
Oh Lord, the flashing nipples. Blame CCMcD for those!
I hate post-meet photos
I dunno, the one in the red would sorta looks ok if I was pissed.

the one that says T drank all that wine that was me that expression was just her reaction to me chugging a half bottle of wine.
bipolar: "Julz, you are not going to leave that half bottle of wine are you?"

bipolar: "Glug glug glug. Ahhhhh. Thats better"
First, a big thanks to everyone for coming! I'm serious when I say it wouldn't have happened without you
Thank you so so much for the very very extremely generous contribution you made to my collection of vouchers. I really appreciate your kindness, thank you But reading this thread and all your ramblings of having a great weekend is all the thanks I needed
No wait, I've not finished yet...
My thanks also go out to the people who have become adept at keeping me calm when even the smallest disaster strikes - you may or may not know that The Brindley was due to close for a refurb on the 18th of Feb, which they didn't bother to ring and let me know. It was sheer luck that the date fell through in the end. So hugs go out to...
The list goes on
It was great to see everyone again, and to meet some new faces, TheLostSailor and Jimi to name a couple.
I hope you all had a great time
