Well, *that* was an interesting weekend!

Fistly, many thanks to Denise and Tam for organising the whole party. Without the two of you it wouldn't have been the resounding success it was. It was an absolutely fantastic evening (and the rest of the weekend was fab too!)

Mucho respect to Milky for his Britney Spears routine at the Wellington on Friday night. Think that memory will live with me forever!

And it was great to meet new faces such as Persephone and Heather, Ming, Guffer, Emmy and last, but certainly not lesat, Wobag!. Nice to see that you do actually exist.

General Hellos to everyone else. You all made it the great success it was. And it was nice to see those that I hadn't seen in an age and catch up.

Oh, and special mention must go to the **** of a taxi driver who managed to write off my car as I was about to leave the car park, showering me with glass. What goes around, comes around and you'll get yours, I'm sure.

That aside, I enjoyed myself immensely.

OK, my turn

First of all, huge thanks to VG & Tam (and Mon) for pulling off an amazing weekend!!.. the party was fantastic and i had a great time Even though i was sitting alone most of the time and watching the proceedings, i did have fun

Also, thanks to Whistler and gobstopper for meeting me off my train, for carrying my luggage for me and for being true gentlemen. It was very much appreciated

Milky: I was so glad to finally meet you.. you are a sweetheart who made me laugh soooo much *hugs*

It was fantastic to meet FG and her mum, CK and her mum, Persephone and her sister, and also Morph FG: Hannah adores the Eeyore you gave me for her and she says "thank you very much" and tell your mum she wouldn't speak to me or come near me for about three hours after i got back

And it was wonderful to meet the mysterious Wo.. sorry we didn't get the opportunity to talk.


And big "hello's" to everyone else who was there, it was really nice to put faces to yet more names.

And most of all, thank you everyone for the company, the chat and most of all, the laughs

Okay I'm semi-awake so here we go with my recap.....

First the thank-yous... Thanks to Denise and Tam for organising a great party on Saturday night and all the other little bits they did. Well done guys, as everyone will agree it was excellent.

I also have to say thanks to Tam again and also to Monster for the lift back to the airport...I especially enjoyed the trip around the same roundabout 6 times

Another big thanks has to go out to Yvonne for the wonderful costume she provided for Friday night...I think you let me of lightly hun

So thats the thanks out of the way now for the memories.

After getting to the wrong airport on Friday morning "DOH!!", I managed to get to Birmingham station with very few mishaps. Breakfast with Milky was a failure as the only person that was there was me ...hopefully I can get some people to come next year.

I met so many people on the Friday afternoon so big hello's have to go out to Ming, Byron, Emmy, LittleWitch, Noid, Julz, Gobstopper, Persephone, Persephone's Sister, Tycho, Tree, MissKittyFantastic, Graham, Beth, Chambler It was really cool to actually meet you all and in some cases it was actually the first time I'd spoken to you so you were freshly introduced to the Milky Madness©

Friday night was a good laugh and I'm glad you all enjoyed my rendition of Britney Spears...you all have Yvonne and her Yahoo pool skills to thank for that Also how funny was Skunk Boy and his weird ass vocal range hehehe

Saturday morning breakfast was quite funny, had loads of fun tying up Tamara Saturday afternoon was spent wandering the streets of Brum and finding a pub for later and playing Cluedo.

Met even more people on the Saturday night...so hellos go to Keeny, Sarah(Maff's G/F), Master, Crow and in my drunken haze I can't really remember any others

Saturday night was a riot. Some random memories.. Vin Drives Stick, PoF lying on the floor with me standing over him, dancing, drinking, being set free from the slave auction by my master(Ta James ), air guitars, getting taught Steps dance routines by Sarah, Y trying to teach me the Macerena, MissEdith finding out I had no pants on , Tam and me dancing to Tiffany...so many memories I think my heads going to explode!!!

I had a great night and as usual it was great to catch up with you all again. Hope to see you all again soon

Ok feeling a bit more awake now, no way can I mention everyone but great to see you all and stuff and cheers for VG, Desire and all the staff for making it a damn fine night. I really wish I'd m,ade the Friday now Milky being Britney looked bloody excellent Anyway from the slave auction £285.01 was made, then an extra £5 from Taz to keep Katiestar all night and then Katie went round getting money for kissing people I think so altogether £342.56 was raised for comic relief Cheers to my slave Yvonne I told you i'd be easy on you and i'm happy you behaved for me. Thank you to katiestar for waxing part of me, it didn't hurt as much as I made it look though. Oh and thanks to Pof for my Vicki Peterson Bangles photo you found on the streets of London shes now on my wall. I'm still really tired, the amount of times we walked to the town then back again to the hotel, ok it may not seem far but I was exhausted especially after being forced to carry Miss Ediths bags too. Thanks to all the slaves and bidders too we raised a great amount I think. Glad to have met all the new people I met which some I can't remember so I won't list them. Oh and Coolkats mum is not easy to chat up, i'll have to try harder next time. Where to begin?!

Firstly, a big thanks to everone involved in organising such a fun-filled and pleasantly bizarre weekend! I hope you all get a well-deserved chance to recover. I do have one question though - who was responsible for suggesting that surreal karaoke bar? Actually, I think I'm better off not knowing!

Anyway, it was fun partying with all the usual (and some unusual) suspects - hopefully you all know who you are. Sometimes a person just needs to let their hair down, and this weekend was the perfect excuse! I think I've managed to make a full recovery - apart from slightly wobbly legs from dancing in heels for too long! The real killer was at the 80s bar when New York New York came on straight after Come On Eileen. More 'can't can't' than 'can can' today I think! Next time I'll make suggestions for songs I don't like, so I can sit down more often!

I was surprised by how convenient everything was, and even had a chance to potter around the museum. I'm really glad so many of us made it to Reflex after the party - I'd felt an irresistible force pulling me towards the place since I saw it on Friday afternoon! I think it's about time London had a place like that.

I can't wait for (most of) the photos to come out. I'm actually working somewhere with internet access this week, so I'm hoping that people have time to get their files organised by Friday (grovel, grovel).

So, big hugs to everyone. When can we do it all again?!

On a related note, I have some 40 minutes of footage, most of it actually pretty poor quality. I guess it'll need splitting into reasonable sized chunks for downloading purposes but anyone got any views/suggestions about format, file size, where to host the stuff etc?

Having been in a bit of a mess for several months now, that was the closest i've come to acting like a normal human being for ages - a total drunken tart of one anyway

Had a fabulous time, thank you to the staff for all the work they put in and of course big thanks to all i hugged, snogged, groped or flirted with (anyone i left out, see me next time!)

And Franz, one of these days i will get my clerks video back

Ming, I'd suggest maybe MPEG1 320x240 clips..? MPEG is pretty accessible by everyone. As for hosting it, feel free to send them to us and we will host them.

Bad news about the job, but then, having also done consultancy, I was very glad to get out of it, so maybe you will find a better career! It could be just the thing you need.

I can host stuff, bandwith a plenty .
For a format I'd say DivX or XVid, in a as high as possible res. MPEG 1 and 2 are horrible in file-size, but you can allways do versions of different sizes...
